About Eliot Burdett

I am a husband, father, entrepreneur, vegan, pro-freedom, fitness and sports nut. Usually in that order.

For 20+ years, I have been in the technology sector, starting several companies along the way including Peak Sales Recruiting, Ventrada (wireless software), and GlobalX (Web content management software, acquired by OnX.com)

My passions include living a rich life with my family, building business, exercising and playing sports, reading, meditating, adventures, sales and marketing and eating my wife’s amazing vegan cooking.

In 2003 I was a Top 40 Under 40 award winner and have been featured or interviewed in the following: CNN, ROB-TV, The Globe and Mail, Selling Crossing, Salesopedia, the Ottawa Citizen, and the OBJ.

Mentors: I have been really lucky to have strong people around me my whole life. From as far back as I can remember, my parents taught me humility, respect, compassion, integrity, self-reliance, how to enjoy the good times, how to battle through the tough times and the value of courage. My brother JP, who I have often called my younger, more mature brother, taught me too many things to count and I am eternally grateful. I learned how to sell from Dan Kuzell who took me under his wing when I was in my twenties and knew nothing about sales. Peter Reid, one of the founders of Fulcrum, was the Chairman of my first two start-ups and taught me how to be a professional manager. My business partner, Brent Thomson, is a warrior, a general, a coach, an entrepreneur, an incredible sales person and a good friend to boot. And last, but certainly not least, my wife, Chay is a rock and simply inspires me and completes me – she is a great friend.
