Received this quote in my inbox this morning: “Every day I get up and look though the Forbes list of the richest people in America. If I’m not there, I go to work.” ~ Robert Orben
As I paused to consider the quote’s meaning to me I thought about the value of money and how some of the wealthiest people I know are anxious about not having what they want. … Which brings me to another quote, whose author I can’t recall: “it’s not about the income, it’s about the outcome.”
While making the Forbes list is a spectacular achievement, how about measuring life on your own terms?
