Moderation – Baby Steps

If you are struggling with the decision to cut something out of your diet, like sugar, antiperspirants, dairy or meat, have you tried cutting back first?

Try eating meat once or twice a week rather than every day.

How about eating deserts and consuming sugar on every other day, say Monday, Wednesday and Friday?

What about wearing antiperspirant only on the days that you have a big event or a night out with friends?

What about cutting out cheese, but having cream with your coffee?

For me, going cold turkey is usually the only way I can break a habit, but moving in the right direction is far better than not moving at all. This attitude can be applied to anything whether it is food, exercise, or work habits (web surfing, reading email throughout the day).
